Nagaland Chief Minister T R Zeliang today said that his Government is first opposition less Government in Nagaland, which has NPF party enjoying the highest ever members of 46 MLAs, along with BJP with 4, NCP one, JDU one and Independent with 8 MLAs.
Addressing a press conference at his Residential office this evening Mr Zeliang said all the 60 members of the Nagaland Assembly is united for the interest of the vexed Naga political problem in the greater interest of the development of the state and the merger of the eight Congress MLAs into the Naga Peoples Front (NPF) also aimed to have a single voice of all the Members of the Assembly to find out a solution.
He informed that due to internal crisis of the NPF party in the beginning of the year, he was compelled to seek the Vote of Confidence on him in the floor of the House. During the confidence motion on the floor of the House on February 5 this year, entire members of the House voted supporting the confidence motion, which is for the first time in the country.
